Daniel Koi

Partner

Daniel Koi is a Solicitor and Partner at Fortwell Solicitors. He is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction, growth, and overall management, while continuing to maintain an active and wide-ranging fee-earning practice.

Daniel advises clients across several areas of law, with particular expertise in UK immigration and nationality law, family law, mental health law, and employment law. He acts for both private and business clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, senior executives, and families requiring clear and effective legal support in complex matters.

In immigration and nationality law, Daniel advises on a broad range of personal and business immigration matters, including relocation to the United Kingdom, immigration compliance, EU-related applications, detention matters, deportation cases, and Judicial Review proceedings. He has represented clients in numerous appeals before the First-tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber), and also advises on human rights claims, applications outside the Immigration Rules, discretionary leave matters, family and private life applications, and child access visa applications.

Alongside his immigration practice, Daniel advises on family law matters, mental health law issues, and employment law disputes. Patrick Opoku-Boateng

Patrick Opoku-Boateng is a Solicitor and the firm’s Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP), responsible for ensuring that Fortwell Solicitors adheres to all legal, regulatory, and professional obligations. In this capacity, he provides governance oversight and safeguards the firm’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and client care.

Patrick is a qualified Solicitor with extensive experience across Family Law, UK Immigration and Nationality Law, Civil Litigation, and Employment Law. He undertakes a broad range of family law matters, including public and private Children Act proceedings, Care Proceedings, section 8 applications, divorce and financial remedy matters, relationship breakdown, and domestic violence applications, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.

He has also built a strong reputation in immigration and nationality law, advising on EU Free Movement applications, UK Nationality matters, ECHR applications, family reunion, marriage and entry clearance applications, as well as appeals arising from immigration decisions. Patrick is known for his thorough preparation and commitment to achieving strong outcomes for his clients.

Dorothy is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. With a  focus on immigration and family law, Dorothy has a vast experience in advising individuals, families, and businesses on a broad range of immigration and private family law matters.

She has particular expertise in complex immigration applications, appeals, and sponsor compliance for corporate and charity clients.  Her practice also includes private children law, divorce, and financial remedy matters, with regular advocacy at court hearings.

Recognised with multiple in-house performance awards, Dorothy is known for meticulous case preparation, clear advice, and a strong commitment to client care and regulatory compliance.

She holds an LPC from London Metropolitan University, a GDL from BPP University, an MBA (Merit) from the University of Leicester, and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2022

Foster Amankwah

Legal Executive

Foster Amankwah is a dedicated and client-centred Registered Foreign Lawyer in the United Kingdom, with strong international legal background. He is equipped with multidisciplinary academic and professional background in both law and accounting.  Armed with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and duly admitted as a Solicitor and Barrister in the Republic of Ghana.

He holds an MBA in Accounting from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Part Two of Institute of Chartered Accountant- Ghana (ICA-PART II) as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

He has a cross-jurisdictional in-depth knowledge, skills and understanding in the application of complex tenets of family, immigration, commercial and labour laws in providing the utmost legal services to clients. The combined expertise in law and financial analysis enables Foster to approach legal matters with a high level of precision, analytical depth, and strategic insight.

Foster offers culturally sensitive client care, strong advocacy skills, and a solutions-driven approach grounded in both his legal and financial background. His academic and professional journey across Ghana has shaped him into a well-rounded practitioner committed to excellence, integrity, and advancing clients’ interests within the UK legal system.

Juliet Akpe-Doe

Juliet Akpe-Doe is a highly accomplished legal professional with a strong international outlook and extensive experience across multiple areas of law. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the prestigious University of Ghana and is admitted as both a Solicitor and Barrister in the Republic of Ghana. She is also registered as a foreign lawyer with the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) in England and Wales.

 

With over seven years of legal practice, Juliet has developed expertise in Corporate, Land, Family, Wills, and Probate law. She has successfully represented multinational corporations, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals in complex legal matters, both in and out of court, earning a reputation for delivering strategic, results-driven advice.
